Why start a blog when social media already exists?
The answer is pretty simple: I've always felt like the best way to experience music isn't by rushing through endless feeds, algorithm recommendations or the top 40 this week, but actually sitting with it. In a world where everything gets turned into quick content or fast trends, I wanted a quiet, aesthetic space to slow down, listen properly and document the things that leave an impression on me.
Consequently, this blog was born out of a genuine love for listening, writing and sitting with those overwhelming emotions to create something beautiful out of adversity.
I love digging through vinyl crates (so much so I hunted for a job where I can do that daily), dissecting line-by-line lyricism, trying to capture that perfect acoustic, bedroom-indie fingerpicking sound and matching tracks to hyper-specific feelings.
I wanted this space to feel like an extension of my room, a place where music isn't just background noise but something we can dissect, appreciate and talk about like it's something extra-terrestrial.
There’s something special about keeping a place on the web where things don't disappear after 24 hours. A place to store original song writing ideas, capture hyper-specific moods and, selfishly, to document this exact point in my life so I can look back in a few years and see where my head was at.
